The Mountain combines terrain for all levels of skiers and snowboarders, amazing on-mountain dining including the new Bridger Restaurant complex at the Gondola summit and a full service resort at the base. Last winter marked the return of the iconic 100 passenger Aerial Tram that operates from the base to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain with an amazing continual vertical rise of 4,139 vertical feet, the longest in the U.S. With the return of the aerial tram, Jackson Hole has one of the most advanced lift systems of any ski resort enabling fast uphill access to expansive and diverse terrain. The 8 passenger Bridger Gondola and the trails around it are the counterpoint to the tram’s reputation of delivering skiers steep chutes, powder-filled bowls and the famous Corbet’s Couloir. The high-speed gondola provides access to thousands of acres of moderate, groomed slopes perfect for the intermediate skier and a family ski day.
The Mountain Sports School provides alpine ski and snowboard lessons for kids, adults and families, and backcountry guides for those looking to seek out new terrain. At the Kids’ Ranch, join the Tram Gang as they teach young skiers from beginner to expert how to master the Resort’s terrain with both private and group lessons. JHMR offsets 100% of its energy with renewable energy credits, recycles 1/3 of its trash annually, and is third party ISO certified as a “green” company, the second of only two ski resorts and one of the smaller companies in the U.S. to achieve this recognition.
