Heber Valley Midway
Traditionally an agricultural community, Heber Valley has evolved into a year-round vacation destination. Located in the heart of Wasatch County, Heber Valley and its communities are nestled between the Wasatch and Uinta mountain ranges. The communities within Heber Valley are: Heber City, the county seat; Midway, famous for its annual Swiss Days and Soldier Hollow Sheepdog Classic events; Charleston, and Daniels. Wallsburg, Jordanelle Basin and Strawberry Basin are adjacent to the west, north and south of Heber Valley.
Park City is a quick 15 minute drive north and the Utah County cities of Provo and Orem are 20 minutes to the east. The Salt Lake International Airport is 45 minutes from Heber City — with only one stop light between the two.
Sixty-three percent of Wasatch County is dedicated public lands. Uinta National Forest, Wasatch Mountain Sate Park, Jordanelle State Park, Deer Creek State Park and Strawberry Reservoir provide numerous campgrounds, hiking trails visitor centers and activities. Consequently, Wasatch County and the Heber Valley are outdoor recreation meccas. From family-friendly to the all-or-nothing experience, there is an endless variety of recreation.
Because these recreation amenities are located within just minutes of each other, they can easily be combined. Imagine downhill skiing and taking a hot air balloon ride or cross country skiing and scuba diving in one day. Fly fish, golf, horseback ride, snowmobile, dine at four-diamond restaurants and pamper yourself with a spa treatment. The combinations are unlimited.
We invite you to stay with us and discover your own custom-made adventure here in the beautiful Heber Valley!
